🤍 Handcrafted Moroccan Rug: Tradition Woven with Love and Care
Crafting a custom handmade Moroccan rug is a labor of love steeped in tradition and precise artistry. It begins with the finest quality wool, locally sourced and carefully cleaned, spun into yarn, and hand-dyed using natural, eco-friendly pigments. This process yields a vivid array of colors, making it an ideal gift for her, a distinctive handmade gift, or a perfect housewarming gift.
Our dedicated artisans meticulously weave your custom Beni Ourain rug on traditional wooden looms, knot by knot. Each intricate detail is a testament to their skill and dedication, weaving a narrative of Moroccan heritage into every pattern.
Once complete, the Moroccan rug is delicately cut from the loom, its edges knotted to create the hallmark fringe, symbolizing the craftsmanship of handmade rugs. Rigorous inspection ensures it meets our high-quality standards, delivering to your home a piece of Moroccan tradition and artistry that endures.

All Orders are processed within 1-2 days and we start making your custom piece. Dust and dirt that accumulate in your rug can erode the fibers over time. The best way to combat this is to take your rug outside and give it a good shake once a week. Depending on how large it is, you may need to recruit a friend to help.
If shaking it out isn’t possible, you can vacuum it instead, just be cautious, and don’t use a rotary vacuum, because it can damage the fibers. Once or twice a month, use the suction attachment gently, from side to side. Once or twice a year, flip your rug over and vacuum the back.
Once a year, let it sunbathe. Hang it in the sun for a few hours when it’s hottest, and flip it over midway through, to expose both sides to direct sunlight. This sun-bleaching helps further sanitize the wool
We do our best to make sure rug colors are represented as accurately as possible. The photos that we take of our rugs are color corrected to match the actual color of the rug as seen in person. Keep in mind that if the lighting conditions in your home are different than natural daylight the colors will appear slightly differently than on the website.difference.
